This bike comes with 17inch alloy wheels with tubeless radial tyre ,with front tire size is 110/70 - R17 and rear tire is 150/60-R17. Weight of the bike is 176 kg and seat height is 790mm. Triumph claim the mileage of 35km/L. This bike comes with digital analogue.

In recent years, Triumph wanted to launch a midrange bike in India despite of its legendry craftmanship of Grand range vehicles. India having the vast acccepting market of midrange bikes being the exclusive reason, eventhough the possibility of making bike in such category has mere possibility for triumph as they needed a new platform for the bike release, they made it through by collaborating with Bajaj. There is a rumour that the Engine is of Dominor-400. In reality the engine of Triumph speed 400 was maade brand new with the collaboration of two great builders, Bajaj and Triumph.

This bike come in two categories, one is speed400 and the latter is scrambler400x. Price of speed400 is 2.23Lakhs, this price is exclusively applicable for only the first 10k bikes in sale. Later, the Price will shoot to 2.33Lakhs. Scrambler 400 has not confirmed the price yet but resources claim it to be around 2.7-2.8 Lakhs. Scrambler400 is only available after October 2023.

This bike is a destructive competitor among midrange bikes like Dominor400, Duke390, Yamaha R3 naked, BMW G310R, Harley Davidson X440. Its also a competitor to Royal Enfields, Java and Yezdi.
